Chalice Well sang deep to me,
"bring them,
bring them, so I may release them",
I return with flickering light,
two lives
cut short -
car meets tree,
set flame around sacred well, and sit,
and meditate on life and death,
rebirth sings back to me -
free they are,
not gone, but free.
Veil shifts to reveal -
Druid, Melbourne set in one hour,
to spend this time with me,
this well, and the memory,
of two beloved friends.
Druid enters the circle
and opens deeper the mystery,
joined soon, Druid three,
Northern this time,
and a male energy,
one more comes,
responds to the ancient call,
the love and harmony of our mother,
Diva she - Chalice Well energy.
Scene slides,
as time can only do in Avalon,
we four dwindle to three again -
and my Australian friend must return
this very day,
back to land scorched red,
last home of you, my kin.
And so this Isle of the Dead
has spun for me new thread,
and some shining crystal light
added into life's tapestry. . .
for you Jim,
and you, Kimberley.
Peace Be.
