Majesty
She stands as if fearful,
hesitant
not of the roaring majesty
of the surf
but of the eyes
of judgement she imagines
exist on the shore
not realising, and never seeing
the focus of our attention
the sea, moana nui
and riding her gifts of energy
the riders
who care little for a girl
standing in the right gear, body-board
under supple young breast
not they ho ho ha ha
no, they are in the arms
of their beloved
who tries to teach
her rhythm to those
who can only respond with their bodies...
and the few
who understand in their souls.
