A Piece of Paper Dancing
A dancing piece of paper
dances down the street
dancing to the beat
of the rhythm of the cars
passing by.
Flying high it tries to recall
the magic freedom
which once was a tree
its fibre dancing
firmly rooted in the Earth
and being fed
by the energies of the universe
until...
man came
and took it away
from the Earth
and put it through a machine
and removed every part of it
from every other part
and made it
eventually
into a little box
a little box dancing
down the street.
